cost-effective transportation solution. Owned and operated by Alabama Port Authority, the 272-acre site encompasses 9,000
feet of track that is served by CSX Transportation. The facility is easily accessible to two major roadways, Interstate 85 and
Highway 31. Welcome to reliable transportation while reducing your carbon footprint.

Moving cargo as efficiently as possible to its end destination matters. The Montgomery Express streamlines the process, offering the Southeast or the East Coast its 25,016 feet of track served by CSX Intermodal with proximity to Interstate 85 and Highway 31. In addition to moving efficiently, the new multi-modal facility can do so quickly and at a cost savings as it is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and importing and exporting trains seven days a week.
